Choreopgrahic Showcase began yesterday.

Well we are off to a wonderful start with our 2011 Choreographic Workshop and Showcase performances. 7 Choreographer over 50 classes this week. I am personally excited that I will be creating a new work Entitled " Night" inspired by the music of Payer Band. Based on strength and will of those who survived the Holocaust.......

Carnival of the Animals is a musical suite of fourteen movements by the French Romantic composer Camille Saint-Saens, with each musical movement depicting a particular animal. The ballet tells the story of a young child lost at the zoo who encounters a variety of animals as he seeks his way home. Enjoy fun dance based educational activities and crafts prior to the show. Load of fun for cool summer night.

Tickets are $12 Adults 13-Up
$10 Ages 12 and under.

This highly original and theatrical Caribbean adaptation of the popular fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" garnered eight Tony nominations for its Broadway run, including Best Musical, Book and Score. In almost non-stop song and dance, the show tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. When Daniel is returned to his people, the fantastical gods who rule the island guide Ti Moune on a quest to test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and death. This tropical smash is catchy, contemporary, and the Caribbean-flavored score by the Tony® Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty ("Ragtime" and the animated film "Anastasia") will includes tender ballads and rousing celebratory numbers for the entire Musical Theater Camp.
